Tom Holland reveals why working with girlfriend Zendaya is “the best thing that’s ever happened to me”

Tom Holland and Zendaya are one of the much-loved couples in the Hollywood industry. The duo are now working together and Tom revealed that working with his girlfriend Zendaya has its own benefits.

Tom Holland & Zendaya to share the screen space again

During the Christmas episode of the Dish podcast, Tom spilled the beans on what it’s like to work with his girlfriend Zendaya. Speaking about it, he said, “Studios love it. One hotel room. Separate drivers. We’re not crazy now. Listen it’s work, alright?”. “Oh God, yeah. It’s a saving grace. Yeah, best thing that’s ever happened to me”, he added on a more serious note.

“It’s just that perfect thing when you’re on set and a director will give you a note that maybe you don’t agree with, or I know that she doesn’t particularly like, and it’s just that, like, familiar glance at each other of like, can’t wait to talk about that later, ” he added.

Holland and Zendaya have worked together in three parts of Spider-Man, and will also be spending time together for the fourth part along with another Christopher Nolan’s mysterious new film. It will also star Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and Charlize Theron. The film is set to hit the in theatres on July 17, 2026.

Tom Holland and Zendya’s love story

The duo met on the sets of Spider-Man: Homecoming and started dating in 2021. The two have often been private about their relationship. Zendaya has earlier talked about keeping a balanced and private relationship.

On the work front, Tom Holland will be next in Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. The film stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Robert Downey Jr, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach in pivotal roles. The film is set to release in 2026.
